This is a review of Sony Walkman. A sleek stylish MP3 music and video player which you can carry around where ever you go.
Recently, I bought a Sony Walkman. It is a basic model (NWZ E443) with audio and video capabilities.
I bought the SonyWalkman for Indian Rs 4000 ~ US $ 88.

Sony Walkman NWZ E443 is a 4GB model and has a 2 inch LED screen with TFT color display. It also comes with a very good quality ear phone set, and a USB cable to transfer music and videos with your computer.

What I Like About My Sony Walkman
It is very compact and sleek. Sony offers a choice of colors for this model. I selected the blue color.
The voice and picture quality is exceptional.
It has three buttons placed below the display screen with which you can navigate through your songs, videos, and pictures. The volume control is situated at the side and you can easily turn the volume up or down as needed.
The 4GB space it provides can be used to store other files too if need be. However, you will be able to view only video, and images (jpeg) in its display and listen to audio (mp3,wma).
It has an FM tuner which allows you to listen to FM radio. And you can record FM radio and play it back later – a very good feature.
My Sony Walkman has a voice recorder which allows me to record mp3 at three bit rate settings namely 96kpbs, 128kpbs, and 160kpbs.
What I Dislike About It
Sony Walkman supports only USB based charging. For instance, you can’t charge your Walkman while you are travelling and you do not have access to a computer.
My model NWZ E443 doesn’t have a speaker.

Verdict
Sony Walkman NWZ-E443 is no doubt a very good MP3 cum video player and picture viewer. It is sleek and compact. The headphone quality is excellent. The one main drawback namely you cannot charge the player through a normal electric socket apart, this is one fine product from Sony. This Walkman has provided me hours of enjoyment listening to music and watching movie clips. At Rs 4000, this is an affordable gadget that provides value for money.
