Regarding OneNote in Linux. I believe that the web alternative for office might work. office.live.com gives you access to skydrive and you might be able to edit your notes from there. I haven't had a chance to test on Linux, but it works using Google Chrome. Some limitations exist.

Hi Ghabuntu,
As far as I can tell, it is fairly automated. One solution would be to replace Grub2 with legacy Grub once you have finished installing Fedora 16.

You can do that by booting into a live CD and chrooting into the freshly installed Fedora partition.

Hi. Do you know if after upgrading there's any way I can keep the current grub legacy which shipped with 15? Grub2 does not work on the Lenovo ideapad s205. I tried installing 16 via fresh install and it'd not boot. There's a bug in the uefi firmware of the ideapad.

I want to upgrade to 16 without upgrading grub.

Hi,
Glad you like the article. That is the procedure involved to get a complete chrooted environment.

You need to bind the block devices (/dev) as well as the /proc and so on to make the chroot environment complete. That way you can run any command inside the chroot environment and it will work - even those commands that access /dev files.

For re-installing grub, you can try leaving that part out and see if it works for you.
