Amazon Cloud Storage – 5 GB Free Online Space
Amazon in a bid to woo even more customers to buy MP3 music from their online store has rolled out a new service called Amazon Cloud Storage. With this offering, Amazon is providing anybody who has an Amazon account (Free registration), 5GB of free online storage space to store all your files. You can store all your music, photos, videos, and documents.

The Songs or Albums purchased from Amazon MP3 and saved directly to your Amazon Cloud Drive never count toward your storage limit and are always stored free of charge. For instance, if you buy an MP3 of Kayne West from Amazon store and save it on your Amazon cloud drive, you will still have 5GB space remaining.
Once you have used up the 5GB allotted space, you can conveniently upgrade to 20GB for a mere $20 per year.
For a limited period, get a free upgrade to the 20 GB tier with an MP3 song purchase.

One of the advantages of storing your files on a cloud drive is, you will never have to worry about losing them if your computer crashes, or is lost or stolen.

Another new offering from Amazon is the Cloud Player which lets you listen to music stored in your Cloud storage right from your web browser on your PC or your Android phone.
Amazon is not the only player in the Cloud storage business. A few weeks back, I had written about Spider Oak which is one among several players in Online Storage that give away free space to securely store your files online and share them with others.
