Mobile Version of Facebook
Facebook team has rolled out a new mobile friendly version of Facebook. People who own smart mobile phones like Samsung Galaxy, Google Nexus and HTC phones can access Facebook via its new address 0.facebook.com.
This new site is designed to get around the biggest barriers to the mobile Internet — the speed of the experience and the potential cost of browsing. 0.facebook.com will be available from 56 mobile operators in 47 countries. That translates to around 500 million users.
Users of 0.facebook.com can update their status, see their News Feed, comment on posts and send and reply to messages like on Facebook.com.
The original mobile friendly Facebook address m.facebook.com is stillĀ available, which is accessible in almost all cell phones.
Facebook claims, currently 100 million mobile users visit Facebook through its m.facebook.com site.
