Google or rather the Gmail team in Google, is offering to send one free Greetings card on your behalf to a person of your choice via snail mail (ordinary mail) this holiday season. To send a card, visit gmail.com/holidaycard and fill up the form. You can choose from 6 different designs for your post card. This offer is valid only within the United States. So make sure the recipient of the card is based in the US.

Cards containing inappropriate messages will be discarded. So make sure your message carries lots of cheer to the recipient if you want it to be delivered.

Google Gmail team had a similar thing going on last December (2008) and they were sending Gmail stickers to everybody including those outside US. However now the offer is only applicable to those living in the USA,  probably an outcome of global recession.

So if any of your friends or relatives are settled in the US, do send them a well designed free greetings post card this Christmas season – courtesy of Google.
