Conference Bike – Group cycling for 7 people
It is real fun to cycle as a group. I am sure you have seen people riding their bicycle in a group. Especially on long rides, group cycling helps beat boredom. Now here is a revolutionary bike – named the “Conference Bike” – that allows up to 7 people to ride it simultaneously.

Conference Bike
7 people can sit on the Conference Bike in a circle and pedal according to their individual capacity. However, only one person (the driver) can steer or operate the hydraulic brakes.
The Conference Bike was designed in the mid nineties by Eric Staller, an American artist and inventor who is currently based in Amsterdam. The 181+ Kg bike is made in Germany to Staller’s specifications.
The bike is put to use in a number of ways namely -
- It is used as a tour bike in Berlin.
- Used as a tool for corporate team building in Amsterdam and San Diego.
- A way for blind people to bike in Dublin and Florida.
- A human powered bus in Germany.
- A vehicle to convey tourists to theme parks in Japan and Spain.
