Do you have sloppy handwriting ? If so, would you like to improve upon them? Here you will find tips on how to improve your handwriting. The following handwriting tips will help you improve your handwriting techniques and make your writing more legible.

Improving Handwriting

First step in improving your handwriting is to buy some handwriting worksheets. These worksheets have lines printed on them in a particular pattern, which make it easier to practice handwriting.

Now start writing alphabets as shown in the following picture. Keep in mind that your pen or pencil should move in the direction as depicted by the small arrows in the picture.

Learn to write by joining the letters of each word together while writing. This technique of writing in a flow without raising the pen or pencil from paperĀ  is called cursive writing or running hand writing.

Your running hand can have rapid, legible handwriting that is semi-joined or perhaps uses few, if any, joins. The choice about joining is yours.

Avoid loops while writing. This is because we recognize letters by reading the top of the letters, rather than the bottom of the letters.

And always be sure to close the tops.
