Worlds Biggest Rat

A giant rat, purportedly world’s biggest rat yet has been discovered deep in the jungles of Papua New Guinea.  The rat, which has no fear of humans, measures 82cm long and weighing 1.5 kg, placing it among the largest species of rat known anywhere in the world.

The expedition which discovered the giant rat was sponsored by BBC for filming The Lost Land of the Volcano TV series. While this is not a white rat or even a baby rat, it is definitely a wild rat for sure. And the world’s biggest rat if the BBC expedition team is to be believed.
