On July 22nd 2009, a few countries around the world had the good fortune to see an awesome spectacle – the longest solar eclipse of the century. People spanning many countries from India, to China, and Japan saw one of the most beautiful, full solar eclipse which lasted all of 6 minutes and 39 seconds in a few areas.
