100 Free useful tools for Mac OS X
Posted on March 11th, 2009 No commentsApple’s Mac OS X is an operating system built on top of a Unix base. While it is a swell operating system which enjoys the power of the Unix coupled with enhanced usability; the operating system itself is proprietary and can be run (legally) only on Apple’s costly hardware.
I do not own a Mac – never have. But if tomorrow or some time in the future, I decide to buy an Apple Mac, I will want access to the following 100 free utilities specific to OS X which provide value in terms of increased productivity and task management. Some of them like Evernote, Emacs and Thunderbird Email Client are also available for Windows and Linux as well. But there is something really beautiful about applications developed for the Mac OS X.
