Ubuntu 8.10 aka Intrepid Ibex is Ubuntu’s latest version released by Canonical in October 2008.  It is a fabulous Linux distribution in many respects, some of them being ease of installation, ease of use, robust, and can be configured to run all proprietary codecs with little effort.
