GIMP 2.6 graphics suite released

Gnu Image Manipulation Program, popularly known as GIMP is a graphics suite which is rich in features and has everything that a graphics artist will need to create stunning images for the Web. GIMP developer team has released the much awaited version 2.6 which has significant improvements in the user interface.

GIMP has been released on multiple OSes such as Linux, Solaris, BSDs and even Windows.

The GIMP team doesn’t officially provide any Windows binaries. You can, however, install GIMP easily using the Windows installers by Jernej Simončič.
